  • Client: Natural Power are champions of renewable energy, with a genuine passion for protecting our planet. They have been trusted consultants for all scales of renewable energy generation project for over 30 years.

    Challenge: In response to the global nuances of the energy sector their service provision is different in different regions, with it being tailored to local needs and gaps in the competition.

    Having one global brand was causing confusion on the capabilities of the business within each of its active markets.

    Our work: Our work transitioned them to having regional sub brands united by a shared purpose but tailored to local propositions.

Intelligence for Scotland’s renewable energy trade body

  • Client: Scottish Renewables, the trade body for Scotland's renewable energy industry.

    Challenge: Validate what a meaningful offering to member businesses might be. Which services do our members value most? Where can we improve them and how they compare in terms of quality of service and value for money against other trade organisations? And ‘What are the key areas of policy members want us to influence? Are just some of the questions they needed us to help answer.

    Our work: Having clearly defined the insights required by Scottish Renewables, our strategists developed a detailed survey that was sent to existing members. We also undertook a series of 1-1 interviews with existing and ex-members. And finally we provided a clear and concise research report full of relevant insights illuminated by our in depth analysis of the data gathered.

    Our report has provided Scottish Renewables with a clear direction for future development in membership growth strategy, attracting more members and increasing retention of existing members. We highlighted ways to increase membership revenue overall.  And we identified key areas of policy members want them to influence.
