Mackenzie Construction x Genoa Black
Delivering growth for Scotland’s
civil engineering contractor of choice
Industry: Construction
Mackenzie Construction is a leading Scottish civil engineering contractor with operations across Scotland and England.
Challenge
Mackenzie Construction have required a multi disciplined strategic partner to support the business in a number of key business functions.
Our work
Genoa Black was engaged by Mackenzie Construction in 2017 to design a brand and marketing strategy to support their vision to be a contractor of choice. Our marketing agency and creative studio followed on from this work by being appointed to lead the implementation of their marketing delivery and brand activation on an ongoing basis, as their retained marketing team and design studio.
Since the initial engagement Genoa Black has now also supported on defining their wider business plan, most recently with their 2023-2028 Business Plan which aims to increase turnover 33% to £80m and develop excellence in people, sustainability and community engagement.
Mackenzie Construction has seen rapid growth driven by their management and leadership team from an initial turnover of £28m to £60m and Genoa Black's work continues to support this.
